  was the ark the first boat ever built?

  if so, that man noah must surely have had some faith in the critter that told him to build it.. the wise thing would surely to have built a small scale model just to be sure the thing was going to float.

  but then i guess noah didn't have too many options otherwise.

  You can't tell me he couldn't have stowed a couple of extra cows aboard for a steak on those Sunday afternoon barbecues. And there is evidence to prove it. When Noah's remains were found several years ago it was discovered he was wearing a toga that had boldly emblazened upon it - "I love animals - they're delicious!"

  scrolls discovered recently indicate that noah learned much from his maritime experience and went on to build a fleet of arks which plied the lucrative coastal trade routes in live animal export around the mediterranean and arabian sea routes (as soon as the human and animal populations built up of course).

  business was slow at first, but he could see a future in it, if only he could live many hundreds of years.

  Unfortunately Noah never recovered from the drama of his first sea voyage and personally never set sail again, which is of course fulfillment of prophecy of the meaning of his name - NOAH - Not Overseas, At Home.

  well...my family is moving back to pa in may.

  as a result, my wife wrote a 2nd letter to the brothers to see if she can get reinstated before she leave.

  her first letter was ok but their response was, of course, attend more meetings!!.

  garybuss - I must say that I do disagree with your statement about pissing on jws if they were on fire. I for one would piss on them if they were on fire - but only if I could piss petrol (gasolene for my American friends).

  some jehovah`s witness are a lot of trouble.....especially family members..... regardless of how you try to avoid them,they are always causing trouble in your life and with your family..the grief is endless..it literally goes on for years,then decades..untill they die.....then all of a sudden there is peace in your life..the trouble is gone!...........were you ever happy a jehovah`s witness was dead?..or..permanently out of your life?.

  I don't think I would be alone in believing that if all of jws, everywhere, were to drop dead at any given time - then mankind would be all the better for it.

  There is the death of one for which I await with eager anticipation.
